In preparation for the practice exam in week 5 of next term, work on vocabulary acquisition now, and manipulation of grammar structures. Your practice exam will be 3 hours and will consist of listening (about 1 hour); reading (allow 1 hour) and writing (allow 45mins-1hour)

We have been asked to make videos to show to students in Japan about Christchurch - where it is geographically and what you can do here.
Your task is to prepare a video where you give a commentary in Japanese.
In your video you could:
describe the geographical features - where is Christchurch
comment on similarities/differences between geographical features in Christchurch and in Japan,
describe what the Canterbury region is famous for e.g. does it have many factories? what might be of interest?
talk about what people can do here if they come to visit (what tourist attractions there are)
comment on anything you think is relevant to the task
Note: you don't have to video inside your own home, or video your own neighbourhood. However, you do need to fulfill the task by showing what Christchurch is like in 2012.
